C++ Software Engineer

Job Description:

  • Focus on C++ software which integrates mapping, GPS, imagery and many hardware appliances into state-of-the-art windows-based software
  • Participate and contribute effectively in small multi-disciplined teams
  • Rapidly learn new technologies including software interfaces, hardware interfaces and military standards
  • Effectively communicate with other software developers, software architects, system engineers, requirements engineers and project managers
  • Perform software life-cycle development tasks (requirements definition, design, coding and testing)
  • Create UML-based designs to collaboratively implement object-oriented software components
  • Write pattern-oriented C++ software using industry-standard best practices
  • Utilize commercial tools for design, development, code inspection and testing tasks
  • Work in process driven development environment

 

Requirements:

  • Computer Science Degree is preferred. Other related degrees (Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering) will be considered
  • Professional communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • Object Oriented Analysis and Design experience
  • User Interface and System Design and Development experience
  • C++ Application Design and Development experience
  • Java experience desired
  • U.S. Citizenship mandatory

Electrical Engineer

Job Description:
Stauder Technologies is seeking talented and professional engineers to join our Systems Engineering team. Personnel will be responsible for assisting with requirements analysis, requirements allocation, interface analysis, subcontractor management, drawing package development, market studies, risk management, maintenance planning, and testing of hardware or software components. As a member of the team, the engineer will be required to interface with the Stauder engineering personnel, subcontractors, and customers. Key skills include the ability to solve complex problems, write testable requirements, define system interfaces, integrate hardware and software components, generate innovative approaches to solving problems, and verify system requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or Engineering Management
  • US Citizenship
  • Experience in requirements development, interface control, software/hardware integration and testing
  • Familiar with System Engineering principles
  • Strong communication skills
  • Technical writing skills
  • Candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must be able to obtain at a minimum a DOD Secret clearance
