Training Tools

Maximizing Effectiveness of Training Slots and Available Assets

TRAIN TO FIGHT. FIGHT TO WIN.

The combination of evolving TTPs, advancing technologies, and the rising importance of Joint and Coalition Operations has placed significant demands on training commands that is difficult to meet with limited assets.

Stauder has worked closely with our customers to design and deliver tools and technology to help augment the training demands in US and Allied Forces.

These tools help simulate assets from strike aircraft to artillery batteries and otherwise complicate datalinks and networks for use in classrooms, squadron ready rooms and team rooms all over the world.

These tools expand training and familiarization further than ever and help warfighters prepare for live ranges with real assets and, ultimately, for the battlefield.

Military personnel operate a flight simulator with a large curved screen depicting a scenic landscape, and a handheld device displaying a map with the text 'Gusto Air'.

GustoAir™ DACAS Trainer

Gusto Air logo with the word Gusto in black letters and a blue and black target symbol to the right of the text.

Having access to live CAS aircraft has been an ongoing challenge for the JTAC schoolhouse and accreditation pipeline through JTAC MOA countries.

Stauder’s GustoAir™ DACAS Trainer is a low-cost, tablet-based training solution that supports the full DACAS mission thread over live (actual tactical radios) and simulated radio (Wi-Fi) communications solutions.

GustoAir™ can be used in JTAC classrooms to provide an immersive DACAS training experience, on the Hill, in the Squadron Ready Rooms or the Team Room for ad-hoc familiarization evolutions.

We don’t always have the assets or schedule to get on the range with a mortar line or a gun battery.

GustoFires™ Surface Fires Trainer opens up a whole new spectrum of Digitally Aided Fire Support (DAFS) training opportunities by simulating:

  • FSCC / FDC

  • Gun Batteries

  • Mortar Lines

Plot and report Fire Unit Status and Ammunition, and process standard mission threads, from CFF to EOM.

SIM-16™ Link-16 Training Simulator

Gaining access to, configuring, entering and exiting the Link presents numerous resourcing issues and security challenges.

To avoid such issues, training and test commands have relied on expensive and complicated Link-16 simulation tools and environments.

Stauder’s SIM-16 Link-16 simulation solution is a low cost, highly flexible, accurate and reliable solution that can be deployed and utilized to test and train elements of DACAS mission planning and SA capabilities of the Link.
